Damien Deleruyelle is full professor at INSA Lyon (France). He graduated from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (MSc in physics) in 2001. He obtained the PhD degree in Micro/Nano Electronics in 2004 after a thesis carried out at CEA-Leti. His research activities concern emerging memory technologies (RRAM, FeRAM, NC-Flash, …) spanning from multi-scale electrical characterization up to physical modeling and simulation. From 2005 to 2016 he served as associate professor at Aix-Marseille and headed the Memory group of Im2np (Institut Matériaux Microélectronique Nanoscience de Provence, Marseille, France) in 2016. During this period, he has been involved as project leader or contributor in several project funded either by the French National Research Agency or the European Community. These projects were concerning Nanocrystal-based memories, CBRAM for flexible electronics applications and Resistive RAM memories. In 2016 he moved to INL (Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon, France) working on polymer-based memories for flexible electronics and Ferroelectric Memories. He his author and co-author of more than 60 papers published in international journals or conferences and 3 book chapters. He also served as conference organizer or scientific committee for the E-MRS Symposium and the IEEE International Memory Workshop (Since 2012). Ian O’Connor est professeur de systèmes nanoélectroniques et hétérogènes dans le département d'électronique, électrotechnique et automatique à l'École Centrale de Lyon. Il donne des cours en cycle ingénieur sur les systèmes électroniques avancés, les microsystèmes autonomes, le calcul haute-performance et les circuits micro-nanoélectroniques. Il est actuellement responsable de l'équipe conception de systèmes hétérogènes à l'Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL) ainsi que directeur du Groupement de Recherche SOC2 (Systems on Chip, Systèmes embarqués et Objets Connectés). Depuis 2008, il est également titulaire d'un poste de professeur associé à l'École polytechnique de Montréal, Canada. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur les nouvelles architectures de calcul et d'interconnexion basées sur les technologies émergentes, associées aux méthodes de conception et d'exploration. Il est auteur ou co-auteur de plus de 250 livres, articles de journal, articles de conférence et brevets, a occupé divers postes de responsabilité dans l'organisation de plusieurs conférences internationales et a été coordinateur scientifique de plusieurs projets nationaux et européens. Il est également expert auprès de l’IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) WG10.5 (Design and Engineering of Electronic Systems), et il est Vice-Président pour Initiatives auprès de l'IEEE Council for Electronic Design Automation (CEDA). Il a également été expert auprès de l'Observatoire des micro et nanotechnologies (OMNT) et de l’Alliance pour les sciences et technologies du numérique (Allistene).

Ian O'Connor (IEEE S'95-M'98-SM'07) is Professor for Heterogeneous and Nanoelectronics Systems Design in the Department of Electronic, Electrical and Control Engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France. He is currently head of the Heterogeneous Systems Design group at the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnology, and Director of the SoC2 research network. Since 2008, he also holds a position of Adjunct Professor at Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada. His research interests include novel computing and interconnect architectures based on emerging technologies, associated with methods for design exploration. He has authored or co-authored well over 250 book chapters, journal publications, conference papers and patents, has held various positions of responsibility in the organization of several international conferences and has been workpackage leader or scientific coordinator for several national and European projects. He also serves as an expert with IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) WG10.5 (Design and Engineering of Electronic Systems) and is Vice-President for Initiatives in the IEEE Council for Electronic Design Automation (CEDA). He previously served as expert with the French Observatory for Micro and Nano Technologies (OMNT) and ALLISTENE (Alliance for digital science and technology).

Patrick Pittet est diplômé en génie électronique et titulaire d'un doctorat et d'une HDR de l'Université de Lyon. De 1991 à 1994, il a travaillé comme ingénieur de recherche en traitement du signal numérique chez Thales (anciennement, Thomson CSF). De 1995 à 2001, il a occupé différents postes de R&D pour des entreprises de dispositifs médicaux. En décembre 2001, il a rejoint l'Université de Lyon où il est actuellement ingénieur de recherche senior à l'Institut de Nanotechnologie de Lyon (INL). Ses recherches actuelles portent sur les capteurs intégrés et les systèmes innovants pour les applications biomédicales. Il a signé plus de 45 articles réguliers et 70 communications dans des conférences nationales et internationales ainsi que 5 brevets. Il a encadré 7 étudiants en doctorat. Il a été le coordinateur scientifique de 4 programmes de recherche nationaux (ANR, InCa) et de plusieurs projets de collaboration industrielle. Il est également le directeur des opérations de la plateforme technologique Nanolyon.

Patrick Pittet was graduated in Electronic Engineering and holds Ph.D. and HDR degrees from the University of Lyon. From 1991 to 1994, he worked as a research engineer in digital signal processing with Thales (formerly, Thomson CSF). From 1995 to 2001, he has held different R&D positions for medical devices companies. In December 2001, he joined the University of Lyon where he is currently a Senior Research Engineer at the Institute of Nanotechnology of Lyon (INL). His current research interests include integrated sensors and innovative systems for biomedical applications. He has authored or co-authored more than 45 regular papers and 70 communications in national and international conferences as well as 5 patents. He has co-supervised 7 PhD students. He has been the scientific coordinator of 4 national research programs (ANR, InCa) and several industrial collaborative projects. He is also the director of operations of the Nanolyon technological platform.
