Education

Training by and through research is one of the main missions of INL.

INL is highly involved in the training provided within ECL, INSA, Lyon 1 University and CPE Lyon, where Professors, Assistant-Professors and Researchers are giving theoretical lectures and practical courses. They are also involved in the pedagogical and administrative management at different levels : Licence, Master, Graduate Schools and in Engineer formations

INL laboratory is in contact with the following teaching departments :

École Centrale de Lyon : STMS and EEA departments.
Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (Insa Lyon) : Material Science and Engineering (SGM), Electrical Engineering (GE), and first cycle (FIMI).
Lyon1 Claude Bernard University (Lyon 1) : Electrical and Process Engineering (GEP)
CPE Lyon, School of Engineering in Chemistry and Digital Sciences

INL is involved in the International Master in NanoScale Engineering

INL is associated with 2 Graduate Schools :

Nearly 25 trainees (M1, M2) are welcomed each year in the laboratory. Each year, thirty PhD theses are supported at the INL.
